Circular Economy Forum (ES)

Please note: this is a Spanish speaking event!

About:

The Circular Economy Forum in Marbella arises from the need to open a critical conversation between two of the most relevant sectors for the city’s economic development: construction and tourism. Both are essential drivers of wealth, employment, and international projection, but at the same time they represent activities with a high environmental impact in terms of natural resource consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste generation. The circular economy emerges as a unique opportunity to reverse these negative effects, transforming environmental challenges into levers for innovation, competitiveness, and longterm value.

Organizers:

At Marbella City Council, we want to promote initiatives that generate a real impact on our economic and tourism model. This forum is an opportunity to place Marbella at the forefront of sustainability, promoting responsible growth that protects our natural resources and fosters business innovation.
— Alejandro Freijo, head of Economic Development and Employment at Marbella City Council

Keynote Speakers:

The First Circular Economy Forum will feature three international leaders in innovation and sustainability who will bring a diverse and transformative perspective to the debate on the future of tourism and construction.
